I was visiting from the west coast and easily organized a small cake in my budget 48 hrs in advance. The cake was classic and ready on time.The lettering on the cake was beautiful and correct. My little niece was a very happy birthday girl!

I ordered a custom chocolate birthday cake for our 4 year old. Not only was it adorable, it was also delicious! Janet's has never failed me. I used to live here and moved back about a year ago. The service is always friendly and the staff is accommodating, unlike other bakeries I've tried in town. Being new, you like to try new places and I keep coming back!
We loved our wedding cake! Our guests loved the variety in the tiers; we had to get a piece of each! Janet's cakes could use my wood flowers and cake topper; we think it looked fantastic!

Here comes the bride and the wedding cake! Janet's delivered a delicious, beautiful cake (see pic!) and I'm here to share the details! We chose a white cake with raspberry filling and almond icing. Our guests left no crumbs - it was delicious and devoured! When it came to design, I asked for swirls and pink flowers (breast cancer survivor here!). The size you see fed 50. I am not from Bloomington, so Yelp helped me find Janet's Cakes and Catering. We live out of town and did all our planning and payment over the phone with Mike. Easy, breezy. Thank you, Janet's, for helping us celebrate our wedding day!
Janet's did my parents wedding in 1991 and mine in 2021. We had the basic white + almond. It was delicious and decorated exactly how I wanted with a simple buttercream. It was also tasty a year later. Janet's cakes, cookies and petite fours are my go to, always. I live 13 hours away from Bloomington but I make a point to visit and get some goodies to take home when I'm back in town.
